A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for the western Carolinas that began this morning at 7 am ending Saturday morning at 7 am. It is forecasted that the snow may change into a wintery mix. With these conditions the area may experience power outages, hazardous road conditions and down trees. Stay at home if possible.
For emergencies call 911.
For non-emergency assistance, downed trees or limbs in the roadway, contact Rutherford County Communications Center at 828-286-2911.
Bostic electric customers experiencing an outage or down power lines report to 828-245-0149.
For Bostic Garbage customers the plan is to pick up trash at some point tomorrow, Saturday, January 11, 2025. Any changes to this plan will be posted on the Town’s Facebook page or website.
The Town Hall will be closed Saturday, January 11, 2025.
