UPDATE ON SERVICES

UPDATE 12:15pm 9/30/2023

POWER: Restoration time for power is still unavailable at this time. Plan to be without power at least through the middle of next week. Keep in mind this could be longer. The Forest City Electric Crews along with crews from outside the county are working tirelessly to restore power. Assessment of Bostic’s infrastructure took place yesterday. Give the electric crew a BIG THANK YOU if you see them out.

TOWN GARBAGE SERVICE: The garage truck is parked at 1st Baptist Church on East Church St from noon to 6:00pm for you to drop trash off if needed. Notice will be provided when garage pickup will resume.

ROADS: The majority of the town roads have been cleared for passage. If power lines are in downed trees, they are unable to remove these. The Bostic Volunteer Fire Department have has worked diligently to keep the community safe and clear the roads. The firemen are volunteers, please thank them if you see them out.

UTILITY CUSTOMERS: The town hall is still closed for payments. Details are still being worked out on the extension for payments that were due Saturday, September 28th.
