Power Outage Update

Cell service is back up for now. Apologies for no updates. Just quick update. If cell service goes back down an updated notice will be posted each day at the Town Hall. Time of posting will vary.

-Power: Damage to lines continues to be assesed. Once assessment is complete an expected time will be provided.

-Road: Early hours on Friday morning the Bostic Volunteer Fire Department began responding to emergency calls. Once things settled they began clearing lines on main roads in the fire district.

-Garbage Pickup: For Town of Bostic residents-Notice will be provided when pickup is rescheduled.

-Town Hall: Utility Customers notice will be provided on when Town Hall is open for payments. An extension will be provided for those bills that was due Saturday. Details will be provided at a later date.

Do not travel if it is not needed to ensure the safety of electric and road crews, and emergency responsders working to restore power and ensuring your safety. This entire group has families they left at home during the storm and some have damages to their homes that are waiting for them. If you have to go out give them a big thumbs up when you drive by.
