BOSTIC (Oct. 16, 2023) — New water infrastructure and fire protection is headed to Bostic, thanks to a more-than $2 million appropriation from the North Carolina General Assembly.

The Town of Bostic is excited to announce that state lawmakers have earmarked for $2.05 million in the recently passed state budget act, House Bill 259.  Approximately $1.35 million is allocated for water and stormwater infrastructure and $700,000 allocated for purchase or upgrade equipment for the Bostic Volunteer Fire Department.  

The Town of Bostic, Town Council, Bostic Fire District Board and Bostic Volunteer Fire Department extends its appreciation to our state representatives for recognizing the projects' importance and support.
